The free traveling exhibition uniting Spain and Portugal through art and innovation arrives for the first time in Lisbon and Porto.
The Soiree Mademoiselle Basque exhibition arrives in Portugal, in partnership with RAW Culture Bairro Alto, presenting a free, traveling show that combines contemporary art and entrepreneurship projects with social impact.
This initiative, which celebrates the talent of Basque women, brings its most inspiring exhibition to Lisbon and Porto, running from October 2025 to May 2026.
Can a test designed to detect substances in drinks be transformed into a work of art? Or can an artificial intelligence project inspire a painting? This is precisely what Soiree Mademoiselle Basque brings to Portugal.

The Result of an Excellence Program
The exhibition is the culmination of a rigorous nine-month program that combines training, mentorship, and creative collaboration between artists and entrepreneurs.
Among the projects transformed into art are:
- Test4Safe: A test for detecting date-rape drugs transformed into an artistic installation.
- Naru Intelligence: An AI algorithm for oncology interpreted through digital painting.
- Gaman: A project that converts containers into accessible spaces for people with reduced mobility.
How is a Business Transformed into Art?
The artist Neus Álvarez interpreted the Gaman project through an installation representing «an inclusive underwater world,» where sea creatures swim together in harmony, symbolizing accessible coexistence among all beings. The work conveys a clear message: «Never stop swimming and seeking your dreams,» reflecting the perseverance required to build a more inclusive society.
The 12 projects (leaders in technology, sustainability, and health) were interpreted by 12 emerging artists, creating works that invite reflection on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The expert jury included representatives from the University of Deusto, the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum, and other Basque cultural institutions.
A Journey That Educates and Inspires
Following its successful run through Bilbao, San Sebastián, Vitoria, and Córdoba, the exhibition arrives in Portugal with a clear message: art and entrepreneurship can transform realities.
Soiree Mademoiselle Basque offers a multisensory and easily understandable cultural experience. In addition to contemplating the works, the public can enjoy immersive podcasts that reveal the stories behind each creation. It is an exhibition that is seen, felt, and lived.
